- ➤ Today the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce Tastefest starts at 5:00 p.m. at the Lone Star Convention and Expo Center with about 60 vendors offering tasting bites in one evening—its new digital TastePass lets visitors purchase and share tickets on their mobile phones—and the pass also will work for tasting events at over 30 local restaurants through May 31. - ➤ Authorities issued a Clear Alert for 23 year old Ana-Giselle Nunez who went missing at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the 11900 block of Crystal Creek in Conroe plus she is believed to be in danger, and investigators are searching for 27 year old David Angel Garcia who was last seen with her driving a 2009 Green Volkswagen Beetle with license plate VFY9013.
