- ➤ Thomas Carter, 54, was charged with indecent assault after he allegedly grabbed a retail worker and tried to pull down her dress at The Woodlands Mall on April 17, and he admitted the act as captured on surveillance video. ABC 13
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Conroe ISD leaders approved a new Bible-infused curriculum for kindergarten through fifth grade to help address low reading scores and avoid a mid-rollout update in 2030. An 87-member coalition—set to meet on May 12—will review the new plan, which is estimated to cost about $2.1 million in the first year. KSAM
