- ➤ Former Conroe ISD kindergarten teacher Brian Schultz was arrested on April 23 at 8:54 p.m. for allegedly engaging with a minor online—he was immediately terminated and faces a second-degree felony charge for online solicitation of a minor. ABC 13

- ➤ Montgomery County removed the proposed Townsend Blvd road project from the ballot days ago, but the developer said it will continue its work and taxpayers might later pay nearly $30 million for the road; more homes are planned nearby, and neighbors worry about floods+ heavy traffic. ABC 13
