- ➤ Montgomery County Sheriff Wesley Doolittle stopped a road rage fight near FM 1488 in Magnolia when he saw a driver pull a gun and ordered both men to the ground while calling 911—55-year-old Vernon Cradier now faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. ABC 13

- ➤ After residents complained about fiber optic crews damaging water and gas lines, vegetation and pavement, the City of Conroe will enforce fees for utility work in rights of way+ and create a process for reporting private property damage. City staff will require companies to notify locals at least 14 days before work begins+ and will post a detailed complaint form on the city website. KSAM
