The Conroe Lake Chamber of Commerce (founded in 1934) is a finalist for a national Chamber of the Year award from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives after celebrating its 90th anniversary last year.

Winners will be announced on July 23rd in Philadelphia.

Montgomery County Sheriff is asking anyone with information to help identify a suspect vehicle described as (gray or silver hatchback/small SUV) that entered Woodridge Subdivision and vandalized two statues at St. Martha's Catholic Church on June 7 at 10:35 p.m. (The suspect wore a black shirt with white lettering.)
