- ➤ Houston Texans safety Jimmie Ward was arrested at his Magnolia home on Thursday (around 4:30 a.m.) after his fiancée said he strangled and threatened her, and deputies booked him on charges of assault family violence impeding breath/circulation. ABC 13
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A June 10th update to Montgomery County commissioners stated that $120 million from a $480 million bond issue will be available by July 24th—commissioners have also raised their own spending cap from $8 million to $12.5 million to create a financial buffer for project costs between bond issuances. Officials said the move comes as they monitor market stability through changing interest rates and inflation. KSAM
