- ➤ City officials denied Tri Pointe Homes a building waiver for its Westridge Cove and Clopton Farms projects, saying a building moratorium and concerns over water infrastructure affect residents' health and safety (six engineers reviewed the water data). The decision, discussed at a workshop on July 11 and criticized by developer representative Daniel Gillham for its impact on homeowners' dues and utility district taxes, comes as city staff plan water supply improvements with a new well scheduled to start in September.
