- ➤ On July 7 at 1:37 p.m. the Conroe Fire Department responded to a fire at 11615 Old Montgomery Road that started in the living room with a burning recliner—Engine 7 quickly put it out and two adults were taken to hospital while investigators continue to review the incident. Conroe Today
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Conroe approved a study on impact fees to help cover new infrastructure costs as development in the city grows, and the city council will appoint a Capital Improvements Advisory Committee (required by state law) and hold public hearings before setting the fee structure. KSAM
