Good morning, Conroe.
🏛️ Government
City officials clarified that water service at the Calfee Middle School site was deactivated on August 4 to follow moratorium rules requiring a Developer Agreement for areas outside city limits, and they rejected claims of negligence.
They explained that Willis ISD (WISD) did not secure the necessary agreement in a timely manner and noted that county support is helping resolve the complications.
