The Montgomery County Animal Shelter in Conroe is asking residents to foster up to 60 dogs while technicians repair air conditioning in two kennel rooms.
The shelter said fostering offers a safe place for dogs & frees up much-needed space until repairs are complete.
Montgomery County will honor Dolly Parton with a dedicated day on Sept.
25 after her death from cancer. County Judge Mark Keough (who announced the plan) said he will present a resolution to the commissioners court in the coming weeks.
