Good morning, Conroe.

Walker County Precinct #2 Commissioner Ronnie White appeared on 'Around Town' on September 8 to discuss how Huntsville—an important location for the local economy—could boost local business and planning.

His remarks add perspective to ongoing economic development discussions in the area.

The Conroe City Council voted three to two on Thursday and did not approve a proposal to raise police pay since it would have increased the tax rate; instead, they approved a 6% cost-of-living raise for all city employees and kept the tax rate at 42.72 cents per 100 of property value.
