- ➤ The Wynne Home will host an opening reception on October 14th (5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) to celebrate collaborative quilts by Kathy Campbell and her mother Molly. The exhibit will show how Molly sketches and paints fabric while Kathy pieces, appliqués, and embroiders quilts that share family stories. KSAM
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The city of Conroe halted the Collier Pointe development after DR Horton clear-cut 34 acres under an old tree ordinance, which raised concerns from nearby residents. City staff will meet with the developer next week to review the project and address the issue+ council members said they felt blindsided by the decision. KSAM
